Earth Rebirth has spent the last decade helping countless schools develop a long-term plans for sustaining a school garden program. As a result, we have an award-winning reputation for our commitment and dedication to helping your school garden thrive. As of 2020, Norman Public Schools became one of the first districts in the state of Oklahoma to achieve 100% district participation in school gardening. We are very proud of our role in helping Norman Public Schools achieve this goal.
However, over 100 school districts in Oklahoma have moved to four-day school weeks since we set our goal in 2012 to help every school in Norman get a school garden. And in many of those districts, 70-80% of the students participate in assisted lunch programs. So if they aren't in school on Friday, what are they eating? This is our focus in 2020, bringing school gardens to the schools that need the most relief. As a part of our USDA Farm-to-School partnership, we have been able to provide a wide range of support to our school garden network. Below are some of the tools you can use improve your garden project, click and enjoy!
